Top 5 SEO Tools
What Are These SEO Tools and How Are They Used?
Ubersuggest
This is a free tool that allows users to keyword research and gain content ideas for their site with search engine optimization in mind. Ubersuggest has lots of helpful tools like keyword suggestions, SEO audits, domain overview and backlink data however we use this site mostly for our keyword research!
The best part about Ubersuggest is its extremely easy to use! You simply type in a keyword of interest and the site will provide all the data on search volume, SEO and paid difficulty (competition), and cost per click (CPC). This is going to give you tons of new ideas for blog posts or other content. It is also going to suggest key phrases to target which will lead to higher quality posts and attract users!
Digital marketers will also use common SEO tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs. Although these contain lots of great information and provide many features, I have found that Ubersuggest is often all I need. Every once in awhile for a specific report I will purchase them for a month but it is usually not necessary.
Canva
If you want your reports to be engaging, informative, and unforgettable then Canva is the best tool to use! I use it to send reports to clients as well as create all my graphics for social media platforms and websites. Canva provides hundreds of templates to choose from or you can create your own from scratch! It is easy, simple to use, and my clients always love the way my reports showcase their results.
Google Analytics and Google Search Console
These are both free tools that are a MUST to set up if you have a website. This is where owners can monitor their site presence in Google search results and analyze traffic.
For Google Search Console, we use this tool to measure website performance and see which keywords are bringing in the most traffic. It will also alert you of any issues that need attention and is a great place to manage the links on your site.
Google Analytics is used for tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and help showcase areas of improvement. This tool will allow you to see how many people are visiting your site, what they are doing once they visit, and where they came from. Use Google Analytics for optimizing and improving marketing efforts on your website!
